Strengthening Resilience in Uncertain Times

My specialty is working with clients in various stages of life transition. This might be a young adult heading into the world and searching for a professional and personal identity, or a middle-aged adult caught in an unfulfilling relationship or career. Perhaps a chronic or even terminal illness is causing emotional turmoil as well as raising profound questions about meaning, purpose and legacy. It could also be a “third act” transition to a post-career life- who you are when your work identity no longer defines you.
Making a successful transition requires the resilience to confront the obstacles and challenges which inevitably emerge. Resilience is the ability to recover quickly from difficulties or adjust to adversity. It’s the ability to bounce back from challenges, maintaining a positive outlook and functioning effectively despite stress or hardships. Resilience is not about
avoiding difficult situations, but rather about developing the skills and mindset to navigate them successfully.
